Daryl and I were classmates at Fulda MN High School, we had many memories of school years that we shared whenever we were together. We became close once again when I moved to Spirit Lake IA, and we had the opportunity to get together quite often. We went on many bus trips together including; New York City, Alaska, Glacier and Yellowstone Park, River Cruise through Europe. Fun times! We even went four wheeling in Wisconsin at Daryl and Val's cabin. Daryl was an excellent 500 Card Player and we played many games when we had a chance. Daryl and I had many phone conversations over the years, one of our last conversations, he informed me of his cancer and shared that the chemo was not working and the Drs. were trying something new and that also was not working. I was devastated and Daryl said to me, it is what it is. His positive attitude through all this health issues was amazing. I have lost a great friend. RIP dear friend Daryl. Pat Peddycoart
